Xcaret Wedding Packages: Reviews & Comparison
I think we can all agree that the cost of a wedding can often sneak up on you. Even a small upgrade in the type of china or napkins can start to rack up the bills. When it comes to deciding between different options for your wedding, it can be hard to really know what you’re getting for your money.
Maybe one venue sounds a lot cheaper, but when you factor in all the necessary add-ons, it may not be. To help you make the best decisions, I have gathered many reviews and analyzed the costs for this thorough comparison.
First things first, while there are some differences among the three Xcaret wedding packages, one thing you can be certain about is that at any of these Xcaret locations, you will have the most romantic and unique scenery in Cancun and Riviera Maya for your wedding.
With Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Hotel Xcaret Arte, you have the comfort of preparing and having your wedding right on site! That will cut down on the cost of transportation and save you a lot of time and hassles.
For a small wedding, Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Hotel Xcaret offer better value. However, if you have a big wedding (over 100 people), Xcaret Park tends to be the cheaper option.
Hotel Xcaret Mexico Wedding Package – Best Value Full-Serviced Wedding Package
Hotel Xcaret Mexico wins the best value option because it has the most comprehensive wedding packages. Although the Deluxe package seems to be the most expensive, it offers stress-free planning and a combination of beautiful settings in one place.
You’ll be able to get ready in the same hotel where you’ll get married, and you can take in the breathtaking ocean views at sunset right after you say “I do.”
You also get a lot of additional benefits that will add a nice touch of luxury to your wedding such as romantic amenity on the wedding night, romantic breakfast the day after the ceremony, upgrade to the next category suite available, clothes Ironing, and a gift certificate for your anniversary!
Now, if you want to cut costs, you can totally go with the Romance package. After your ceremony, you can do your wedding games and first dance during the cocktail hour! After that, the wedding party can head to one of the specialty restaurants on-site and have dinners (for free – since it’s already included in the all-inclusive hotel price).
Want to be even more frugal? You can go with just the ceremony package. The downside is you won’t have a private venue to celebrate after the ceremony.
Hotel Xcaret Arte Wedding Package – Best for Wedding Party of All Adults
Hotel Xcaret Arte is newer than Hotel Xcaret Mexico and caters to guests from age 16. Its combination of a stunning beachfront setting, unique caves, and well-crafted luxury details is perfect for a grown-up event with close friends and family.
Although I prefer the hassle-free full-serviced wedding package at Hotel Xcaret Mexico, I think it’s worth considering Hotel Xcaret Arte if your wedding party has all adults.
Xcaret Park Wedding Package – Great for Big Wedding
With Xcaret Park, the ancient Mayan ruins and lush flora will provide a lovely backdrop for your wedding. At first sight, it seems to be much cheaper than having a wedding at the hotels. However, if you look closely, you will realize that a lot of wedding packages cannot be booked separately.
For example, although the El Caracol Wedding Ceremony package only costs $835, you can only book it if you have the reception at El Caracol La Isla – which costs $4,700! If you have a big party, this price doesn’t seem too bad. However, if you have a small party, the costs would definitely add up.
That’s why I think you should consider Xcaret Park only for a big wedding of over 100 people. For smaller weddings, you would get more value for your money at the two Hotel Xcaret all-inclusive resorts.
Wrap Up: The Ultimate Guide for an Xcaret Wedding
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. There are so many factors you have to consider for your wedding like determining a budget, picking a date, choosing your wedding dress or suit, deciding the number of guests and who to invite, etc.
You may think planning a destination wedding would be more stressful than planning an event back home, you may find it the opposite.
Xcaret offers everything you need for a stress-free, hassle-free and fun wedding in the most romantic settings in Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico!
Whether you want a simple or extravagant wedding, they have everything included to suit your budget, theme, and style. The attention to detail at Xcaret with the food, the ceremony, and everything in between is truly unique and tailored for each couple.
Xcaret wedding packages are extremely customizable with several potential add-ons to help make your special day even more amazing! Having read through this guide, you should be well on your way to putting together a beautiful wedding at Xcaret. It’s no easy task, but how hard can it be? After all, you’re getting married in Mexico!

Mexico Travel Essentials
👉 Travel Insurance: No one wants to think about what could go wrong on a vacation, but accidents can happen anywhere, at any time. It’s honestly not worth taking the risks when you can be covered for cheap, and I recommend Safety Wing for budget-conscious travelers.
👉 Rental Car: Protect yourself from car rental scams in Mexico! Most car rental agencies won’t accept Collision Damage Waiver Insurance (which usually comes with U.S travel credit cards). They will upsell insurance if you arrive at pick-up without one. Avoid losing time and money by getting the best car rental rates and full coverage insurance for just $7/day with Discover Cars.
👉 Sunscreen: Sunscreen in Mexico can cost you 2-4 times more than in the States. Plus, some tour operators and guards won’t let you enter protected water with non reef-safe sunscreen. To save you money, protect your skin, and ensure a seamless water-filled adventure, I highly recommend packing SPF 50 reef-friendly sunscreen.
