To the east, Cedar Grove is surrounded by towering granite canyon walls.

Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks provide immensely diverse habitats thanks to their huge range of elevations. There are trails from 1,500 to almost 15,0000 feet. Within the borders of the parks is Mount Whitney, the highest point in the U.S. outside of Alaska. Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks also features Kings River Canyon – one of the deepest canyons in North America.
