Bahía locates in the middle of Isla Mujeres. The area is close to the local community with many unique features of its own and the beach town’s calm atmosphere.

It is walkable from Bahía to El Centro and Playa Norte, however, due to the extreme heat that Isla Mujeres can get during certain times of day, I recommend biking, renting an electric golf cart or taking a cab there.

Poi: this is a traditional Polynesian staple food. Hawaiians make poi by pounding boiled taro roots and mixing with water until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency. It tastes rather bland by itself so I prefer adding it to the kalua pork or Huli chicken for more flavor.

Every meal is an opportunity to discover something new, and I have fond memories of exploring the city’s many markets and street food stalls with friends and family.

Beyond the food, Hanoi is steeped in history and tradition. The city has been the capital of Vietnam for over a thousand years, and its streets are lined with ancient temples, pagodas, and historic landmarks. And there’s always something new to discover in Hanoi.

As you wander through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, you’ll be transported back in time to the era of French colonialism, with its narrow lanes, traditional architecture, and street vendors selling delicious local cuisine.
