Hi Danni, you can add Xcaret shuttle to your tickets when you buy online so you don’t really need a car. If you have two people and stay in Hotel Zone, adding a shuttle is the cheapest option. If you stay in Playa del Carmen, I suggest you take a taxi instead. I don’t recommend renting a car unless you plan to explore East to Yucatan/Chichen Itza.
